Happy Hunger Games!!

So we added to our list of Midnight Movie Releases last night by going to see The Hunger Games!! I think I can speak for all that went that we LOVED it!! It was an exellent adaptation and the cast was perfect!! Haymitch was perfect!! And I just have to say I heart Peeta!! I am glad we got to add this to our list ladies!! Thank you all for coming and Tiff we are sad you missed it but will catch you for the next one!! Happy Hunger Games and May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor!

Happy Birthday Lucy and Lisa!!

We got together to celebrate Lucy and Lisa's birthdays!! Happy Birthday to you both and I hope you had wonderful days!! We went to eat at Fiddlers Elbow but had to move next door when the door guy told us that Lucy's ID was expired!! So we went to Salt Lake Pizza and Pasta! There we discussed our Book for this month which was Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith. Lisa and Melissa finished it! I think the rest of us didn't, but I can't remember so if you did sorry I forgot! Anyways what I got through moved slow for me. I don't know if it was I have just been busy so every time I sat down to read I would get tired and fall asleep or what but after Lisa going over it I want to finish it. I love history stuff and I have always loved history surrounding President Lincoln. I don't know why but it has always interested me.
While we were waiting for our grub Lucy and Lisa opened their presents!!!  They walked away with some sweet swag!! Hunger Games books, Color Me Mine gift cards, Kneaders gift cards ( I am thinking you will need to use them so we should go so you can!), Lisa got an awesome BDB license plate cover and Lucy got a Hunger Games shirt that she rocked to the midnight movie!!

After we were all well fed we headed up to Park City to Color Me Mine. It was fun to sit around a talk and do something that we could totally have taken the kids to but didn't! And since we were so on the ball no pictures were taken, so we will have to add our finished product later. And let's not forget the yummy Nutella and Banana Crepe that Cass got!! Overall it was a fun filled Sunday with awesome friends!! We decided next month to meet at VI on April 20. Our book is Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs!!

Staycation and Book Club!!

Sorry about this getting up here so late!! Anyways lets revisit our girls night in from last month!! After all the running around for the holidays we needed some much needed girl time!! And that is excatly what we got!! Cassie hosted girls night at her house and we came prepared with books and 80's movies!! Soup, salad and breadsticks for dinner which was delicious! Snacks( because it would not be a get together with out them) and some awesome gifts!!

We didn't talk too much about our book The Night Circus because not everyone had finished it. But I think over all everyone enjoyed it. We all agreed that it bounces all over the place at first but it comes together in the end for an interesting kind of twisted story. Next we had some gifts! Lucy and Cass found these awesome martini glasses for all of us that are PERFECT!! Pink Panties! With a drink to go with the glass!! Melissa and Lisa like always came with awesome swag!! Twilight Valentines and signes with PPBB modpoged with pages from Twilight. The book that started it all!!

I Said What About Breakfast At Kneaders

Breakfast was the perfect way to start off this year!! We got to plan our Vernal trip and our Little Girls weekend!! Plus the food was yummy!! So to recap, we are going to Vernal  July 6-8. We are splitting the dinners. Friday night is Cass, Lisa, Melissa, and Tiff. Saturday night is Cheryl, Lucy, Kristen, and Me. Bring breakfast and lunch stuff for your own family. I talked to Matt and he wants to do buckets of wonder for breakfast saturday morning so whoever wants in on that let me know! We are planning on the Dino museum and Main St. stuff and maybe hikes. And planning on Golden Corrale for brunch on the way out of town.
 August 3-5 we are taking the little girls away to Midway for a girls weekend. Maybe we could do their hair and give them little make overs and take them to dinner one night, let them get all dressed up! I had fun this morning ladies and thanks to Lisa I have been on overload about her idea for the Bakery/ Mom hang out!!

Getting Skinny Bitches!!

Alright Bitches here we go!! The Biggest Loser has begun!! We all want to get fit this year and we can all do it! We need to be each others support and cheering team! Should we try and meet sometimes for walks? What about when the weather gets warmer we meet on the Legacy trail and walk a bit? Also if any of you want to come do Zumba with me at the Rec center please call me. They just put a new schedule out so I will have to look it up, but it is super fun! I think they do one Friday mornings at 930 so maybe we can do that sometime!! I read an article not long ago that said there is no secrete to losing weight, no special diet pills or plan. Just watch what you eat and exercise! I really like the weight watchers because I still feel in control of what I eat and I think that helps me. What do you think helps you? Comment on it and lets help each other out!!

New Book, New Year

So we decided to read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. You can find a discription of the book in the Book List post. We will talk about it at our Slumber Party!! Speaking of as it gets closer we can decide what food we want to bring and fun stuff like that.
We also talked about starting the Biggest Loser again!! After the holidays we will resume the contest. Starting over fresh please get me your starting weight if you are going to participate by Jan.1. We will weigh in each month and it will go until September so we will all have rockin bodies for our trip!
I was thinking that one thing we can do to keep us on track is to enter to walk in the Breast Cancer walk they do in May. What do you ladies think? Also I am up for the Dirty Dash again and we can register more than one team. I know the ladies Cheryl and I did it with last year want to do it again too.
Remember ladies we are here to support eachother and push eachother through this!! Lets get nice tight toned asses so we can rock our pink panties!!

Becoming sage

Great book club today ladies!! This book, I think, was the first where we really had a divide in the room! Lisa thank you for introducing us to this book! I found it very informative and interesting. While I am not the personality type to totally go where sage went I really liked how the book was written. It has a way of making you think and to bring out your emotions. That to me is what made this a good book. I didn't like all the things that happened in it but I liked that I felt so emotionally involved. I found myself thinking how I would react to the situation. I think we all agreed with Tiff on the being naked part and if I were to ever have to negotiate that would not be on the "Things I will do list." 
On a different note it was our first PPBB Christmas book club!! I think everyone got awesome gifts and I liked how we went around and said our favorite memory about the person we received our gift from. I do want to share one of my favorite memories about all you ladies. It was at the Breaking Dawn movie when we were in the bouquet contest and Cheryl leaned over and told Cass, Lucy, and I that our bouquet looked like shit!! HAHAHA that was a good night ladies, as are all the nights I spend with you gals. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and I can't wait for breakfast on Friday Jan.6!
