One book started it all.... We were brought together by our love for reading (and Edward Cullen). We have been through book releases, midnight movies, birthdays, road trips. There are only good things to come for us. Put on your Pink Panties girls! It's going to be an awesome ride!

ReplyDeleteLooks good.
I went and saw it with one of the girls from work. I liked it and if it is still playing we should go see it.
ReplyDeleteIts still playing at Broadway Centre Theater, but their schedule is only through today... I liked the movie a lot, but am so glad I read the book first so I had more background info =) I'm still in shock that this is a children's book! I did tell Jordan about it though, its very educational even if it is pretty raw... have any of you thought about whether or not your children would enjoy this book, or how you would feel about them reading it?
ReplyDeleteI definitely want to see the movie.....soon :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is a YA book......unless I missed something, but it isn't listed as YA book either on book sellers sites.
No, I would not let the girls read this one. Sarah's story alone, yes. Julia's story is much to complex and deals with way too many adult type issues.
I am ok with The Book Thief. Not Sarah's Key for young adult readers.
And BTW......I was like "who is PPBB" ha ha ha! I couldn't figure it out for a minute! Bawhahahaha......duh!
